Yes Travertine, Terrazzo and Marble can be restored to original finish. We use diamond polish systems to restore floors, showers, tables and countertops.

Often homeowners add a topical coating or sealer to the stone. In order to restore the stone the coating has to be removed from the floor. Yes it's a more costly job to remove topical sealer from stone floors to restore.
We seal each stone floor after the restoration. Which gives it protection for 2 to 5 years depending on the traffic and upkeep. Sealing is just a protective order to protect against certain conditions. Anything acidic like coffee, tree or orange juice will etch the surface. Leaving a mark only restoration can remove.
